Advertising has to be the most deceptive thing out there. I was shopping between some antispyware tools and kept running across claims of being the “best” or “number one.” Unless they’ve actually been rated that way by another company that rates antispyware programs, isn’t it false advertising? It’s certainly misleading if nothing else.
There are, actually, some companies that do this. Tucows and Editor Pick are the top ones I know of. I think there are like five altogether.
