Antivirus 2009 is Not Your Friend
You may have a new, helpful program on your computer called Antivirus 2009. It shows up as a professionally-designed control interface and scans your computer for malware, spyware, and viruses. Then it lets you know where you can buy a registered version to take care of these threats. Antivirus 2009 is a pretty good friend to have, right?
Wrong. Dead wrong. Like System Doctor, PCMightyMax, and a whole host of other programs, all it wants to do is give you fake “alerts” to your system security, so that you will spend money buying a supposedly “registered” version. Don't do it.
Not only will you be shelling out bucks for a useless product--you'll also put yourself at risk for credit fraud! Many of the payment receivers live in Russia, and they have no qualms about billing you over and over again, or else using your card number to buy a little something for themselves!
