Antivirus 2008 - A Bug That Needs SquashingThis is a featured page

The Antivirus 2008 isn’t an antivirus, not at all. It is, itself, a virus. In fact, it’s one of the most diabolical ones out there. A wolf in sheep’s clothing, as it were. How it works is simple. You click an infected link. It downloads on your system and tells you that you have viruses. It then tells you that it can clean up these viruses if you buy the upgrade.

If you do, the virus activity goes quiet for a while, then starts up again. Then it asks you for more money. What it doesn’t say is that it IS the virus. That it has downloaded hordes of spyware programs onto your computer. That buying it’s solution will never fix your problems. What you need is a real, super-powered antivirus program. Choose well, because not all antiviruses are the same, and few of them can remove the Antivirus 2008.
