While the name sounds like a tool you would use to detect and remove spyware, SpySpotter is another rogue security program that focuses on tormenting the user by displaying incessant security alerts and warnings. To put it simply, the hackers who invent this product want to scare you into purchasing it. SpySpotter is like 99% of other malware -- it cannot scan your PC for threats, and it cannot detect or remove anything. Period.

Most of the time, a person only first realizes that spyware has been placed on their PC when they start noticing strange things. Your computer may be slow to start up, or just doesn't seem to run very well. You wonder what the problem is; you are getting all of these warnings, your PC is at the point of seeming almost paralyzed, and you end up at strange websites you weren't trying to visit. What's going on? Most likely, spyware.

SpySpotter and other malicious applications install without you even knowing it. Usually, this happens when you download other files, visit websites that aren't secure, or click on links in spam emails. Shared networks may also be to blame. However you got it on your PC, you know that it is really irritating and you want it gone -- now. And it should be, because it can really do a number on your computer.

SpySpotter may access your private information, such as passwords and credit card numbers. It may also place more malware on your computer, which is only going to make things worse. Since it has the ability to modify and disable system files, you risk damage to your PC. SpySpotter remains resident and hides in the background at all times, which is why your computer is running so slowly. When you realize you have a malicious application on your PC, don't wait to uninstall it. You should never try to remove it yourself either, unless you are an expert. It's easy to damage your computer if you do this incorrectly.

Are you suspicious that SpySpotter may be on your PC? Click here now for a free scan with Spyzooka, the only antispyware tool that is 100% guaranteed, and removes every last trace of parasites, worms and other security threats automatically.

antispyware SecurityFighter Offers No Security! 0 Nov 18 2009, 11:26 PM EST by antispyware

If you read the title, you have probably already guessed – SecurityFighter is another rogue security program that makes all sorts of claims and really only wants your money. This malware displays misleading and false security alerts, supposedly to warn you of existing threats and infections. While these alerts can look very real and convincing, it's just a ploy to get you to believe that threats exist on your PC, so that you will buy the full version of the product to remove these infections and protect your computer. If you spend your money, you get nothing.

SecurityFighter creates harmless files, then places them on the supposed “scan” they offer you so that if you download this scan, these files look to be infections or threats. Through constant alerts, SecurityFighter does everything in its power to convince you that you need to buy the product to remove these infections. This rogue is like the others – it has no ability to detect infections or threats, and cannot remove anything. If that were all there was to it, no big deal. However, SecurityFighter is malware and can cause problems for your PC, as well as you personally.

These malicious applications often track everything you do when you are online. The searches you perform and websites you visit may be sent to third parties, so that these parties can then turn around and send emails and other advertisements that are related to your interests. SecurityFighter also affects the performance of your PC, usually making it slow or unstable. Additionally, private information may be accessed which places your identity at risk. Although this doesn't usually happen, it very well could.

How do you know if SecurityFighter is installed on your PC? If your computer is running slower than normal, you are getting pounded with pop-up ads and security warnings, your home page has changed or your browser is sending you to strange websites, most likely you have spyware.

antispyware Use Shareware with Care or Prepare for Spyware 1 Apr 29 2009, 11:48 AM EDT by caseyjones123

You can unknowingly install spyware, adware and all their manifestations when you install new software (most commonly freeware or shareware and P2P file-sharing programs) even when you install legitimate supply products for your computer. Many of these programs are intended to track your internet browsing habits, such as frequented sites and favorite downloads, and then provide advertising companies with marketing data.

Some spyware programs can adversely affect your computer's performance, and may prevent you from accessing secure services.

There are quite a few antispyware programs out there, but my favorite is SpyZooka, which comes with a 100% spyware removal guarantee. SpyZooka will rid your computer of all traces of spyware and adware that has somehow infected your PC. Use SpyZooka and see how quickly your computer returns to its original speed and performance.

antispyware What is Internet Antivirus Pro? 2 Apr 29 2009, 11:46 AM EDT by caseyjones123

Internet Antivirus Pro is a new rogue program that pretends to be security software. Internet Antivirus Pro is different from the majority of rogue programs out there in several key ways.

The most significant way that Internet Antivirus Pro is different is the way it spreads. Most rogue antispyware programs spread through the Vundo or Zlob Trojans. Internet Antivirus Pro spreads through a hijacker that will get on your system at Avmyscan.com or other sites that push Internet Antivirus Pro, which will get on your computer if you visit the sites even just once.

Removing Internet Antivirus Pro is tricky. Some antispyware programs remove it easily while others will completely miss removing Internet Antivirus Pro. I firmly believe you should not pay more than $40 for an antispyware program. One great program to check out is SpyZooka. At under $40 and with a 100% removal guarantee, you can’t go wrong!
